"Use this patch immediately !icrosoft"
(e-mail address removed) Is this email from
microsoft? I havent opened the attachment. I have a
feeling it's a virus someone sent. someone let me know.
It also states the following:
Dear friend , use this Internet Explorer patch now!
There are dangerous virus in the Internet now!
More than 500.000 already infected!

This has been around a short while.
The attachment is most likely a virus.
Delete the Email and attachment immediately.

Microsoft sends security updates but NEVER with attachments.

On the rare occasion Microsoft sends a file, you would be expecting it
in advance and know exactly what it is.

Update your antivirus weekly.
Run it weekly.

According to what I have read in Microsofts Security
site, they never send virus or security alerts via e-mail.
Hope this helps, don't open them! Delete them and then
empty trash.
