Windows Vista Microsoft Mail stoped sending out going mail

Microsoft Mail stoped sending out going mail in Vista after 6 months of use with no problems. My ISP reports no server changes or problems. But I get an error message every time I try to send a message or microsoft mail tries automaticly. I receive messages fine...

error message...The host 'sntp.hal-pc.org' could not be found. Please verify that you have entered the server name correctly.
Subject 'test', Account: 'mail.hal-pc.org', Server: 'sntp.hal-pc.org', Protocol: SMTP, Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 11001, Error Number: 0x800CCC0D

Also I can't find any support from Microsoft about Microsoft Mail.... says not available at this time????
any help welcome...
