Microsoft Entertainment Pack 1-4 compatibility w/ Windows XP

I have Microsoft Entertainment Pack 1 through 4, each
having several Windows games. They are installed from 3
1/2" diskettes and are quite old (probably still from the
times of Windows 3.1). I would like to install them on a
new PC that has Windows XP but wanted to make sure the
installation won't corrupt any Windows XP files. (I
installed Office 97 on a on a brand new Dell PC running
Windows XP and it apparently corrupted some Windows XP
files without any warning and I had to reinstall Windows
XP and everything else (drivers, software etc.) which was
a huge pain). Did anyone Install Entertainment Packs 1 - 4
on a Windows XP PC without any problem?

You should be OK. XP protects its important files and won't let you mess
them up. If you're unsure, make a restore point before you install the
games.

Start --> All Programs --> Accessories --> System Tools --> System Restore.

Hi Joseph
I did used to use one of the Entertainment packs on Windows XP some time ago
without running into difficulties. The games are pretty much self contained
within the install folder, and don't try to make as major changes to your
system as Office does.
