Right-click the one you don't want and choose Delete?

I understand that Brian, but I want to merge the files first to insure i have
all of the contacts and then remove any duplicates. I read a previous
posting you had done
regarding this, but was unsure of process of merging. I have the duplicate
remover program.

If that's what you want, you have to mention it.

Open the contacts folder you'll eventually delete and view it in a table
view like By Catgeory. Select all the items in it and press CTRL-A to
select them all. Right-click and drag the selection to the contacts folder
you want to keep or click Edit>Copy to Folder. When the copy completes,
deletre the source folder and run your duplicate checker.
