Merged Cells / Wrapped Text

When I have a large amount of data being fed into merged
cells, wrapped text dissappears after roughtly
1000characters. Is there a way to change this? As unless I
click in the cells I am unable to see all of the text!!

Hi Robert
Excel limits the number of characters to be displayed (without a manual
linebreak) to 1024 characters. all characters are displayed in the
formula bar.
you may enter some manual linebreaks with ALT + ENTER to display more
characters in your cell
