memory.dmp WINDOWS XP DELETE?

Is it safe to delete memory.dmp if it is not needed?
The file is 383 MB last time it was modified was Wednesday, September 01,
2004, 10:15:54 AM

Yes.

The memory dump contains the contents of RAM at the time a crash occurs. This can be useful for Microsoft technical support in determining the cause of the crash. Since this dump file (as they are known) refers to a crash that occured more than a year ago, you are free to delete it.
