Macromedia flash & shockwave

Flash 7.0 and Shockwave do not work on my computer since
it crashed and I had to re-install my windows XP. I have
tried everything.. and I mean everything. I was on the
phone with Microsoft tech support and they coudn't fix
it, go figure! I am able to download the latest version
of each plug-in, install it and what not. It says that it
has been installed but when I restart my computer and go
to a site that uses flash, it will not work. One
recommended that I down load Netscape so I did. And
whalllah! Everything works fine. Problem is... I don't
like using the Netscape browser, I like Explorer. Also, I
have checked for spyware and viruses so the problem isn't
there. It has to be with Explore 6.01. Can anybody help
fix this annoyance?

I have tried downloading the latest version of flash many
times. The download and installation of flash is not
where the problem is. Any advice and guidance would be
welcomed.

I have tried everything.. and I mean everything.

You are unlikely to attract much help by saying this
without giving some evidence of what you have tried
and what the results have been, since many of the things
that you may mean by "everything" are in fact diagnostics.
Your words have to substitute for what our eyes can't see.

Good luck
