Macro issue

If you create a macro that you want available across all
spreadsheets it goes in personal.xls which saves to the
xlstart directory. Then every time you open excel,
personal.xls starts with only 1 sheet. Is there a way to
keep the macro available across all spreadsheets open,
but start excel with the default settings and it open as
before with the book1 title? My defaults are to have 3
sheets, the personal.xls has only 1.

Start Excel. Once Personal.xls opens, go to Windows > Hide. Personal.xls
will no longer be visible, but it is still "open", so all macros stored in
it are available.

Now go to File > New and select Workbook. Insert or delete worksheets so
that there are a total of 3 (or however many you want). Now go to File >
Save As. Name it book.xlt and save it to your XLStart folder.

Close Excel. You will be asked if you want to save changes you made to
'personal.xls. Click Yes.
