loop problem after loading updates

After loading updates today, the computer continually
loops in a restart without ever getting to a log-in
screen. Won't even allow safe mode restart - still loops.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Hi Chris,

I have same p[roblem but even a software writer can't fix
it.
I run 2 PCs on a NETGEAR switch.
Main PC doesn't load, but client PC ran straight away!
Both run same systems except Main is Pent 3 and client is
Pen 4. THEY ARE OTHERWISE IDENTICAL IN PROGS.
Baffling.
Presumed to be Iomega or similar 'non windows' product
causing prob. Even uninstalling each prog still forms loop.
Did you get any replies?

Same here! Started with the reboot after the windows
updates were installed
