Hi all!

I'm looking for an extension for clock in the tray which is displaying
actual date in addition to time. Operating System: Win2k

TClockEx didn't work for me in ME for some reason. Too bad too, because
I liked it's calendar feature. I like this one because it's almost
exactly the same as TClockEx and seems to work in any version of Windows.

Note, the actual home page is here:

http://homepage1.nifty.com/kazubon/index.html

but it's in Japanese.

I haven't tried TClock Lite, am still using version 2.2.9 of TClock. "If
it ain't broke, don't fix it."

And another vote for TClockEx. I would recommend that you also install Tray
Pilot Lite

<quote> Tray Pilot Lite allows you to hide the System Tray window. It might
be useful if you have too many icons in your System Tray and there is not
much place left for the buttons of your running applications on the taskbar.
After you run the program, you will see a small button to the right of the
System Tray. Click this button, your System Tray will hide and space for the
taskbar buttons will be expanded. For restoring the System Tray, click the
button again. </quote>

Google for DSClock, which is what I have used for a couple of years.

If you want to look at the serious samurize program it has a clock
client that will do what you want. I have it configured to show "Wed Jan
18" on the top line and below that the time "2:22 pm" and it works
great. Go to http://samurize.com for more info.

not freeware

I can't see the earlier posts to this thread, so I'm not sure what you want
exactly.

But if you're looking for a replacement clock for the Windows tray, then try
TClock. It's free.

It allows time and date display in any format you choose, with font
adjustments, etc.

BTW, that's TClock, NOT TClockEx. The latter is an older (and inferior)
product from a different author.

PTBSync

It can show many different types of clocks and calendars (including moon
phases). You choose which of these you want displayed. You can choose to
show only the system clock and customize its date/time format. You can even
have show the seconds and watch them count up (good if you're waiting to see
how long a page takes to load). It is user friendly and highly customizable.

Note: That site has something on it that is blocked by either my hosts file
or PeerGuardian. I didn't see anything suspicious on the site once it
finally loaded, probably just a link or ad. If the page won't load for you,
check those places as well as your firewall.

Need a URL. Also I got TClockEx and it seems pretty nice.
