Logitech Headset 30 Premium USB

I´ve got an WinxP Prof full install OEM Install-CD used to setup two PC´s ( a Desktop and a new notebook - both with XP Prof.licence :)

Now my problem. The usb-headset i use, is only working on my desktop , not on my notebook. Both installed from the same winXP Install-CD with all usefull online updates. As I´ve seen, the pure driverfiles aren´t available on the Notebook, on the desktop they are. Does Anybody knows a hint

btw. Logitech doesn´t deliver any drivers, because windows XP should have them onboard by using the standard PnP-USB drivers, but WHERE?

Please HELP!

I presume you meant you had two COA and one OEM CD>

The hardwiring of a laptop audio and the desktop may be the
difference. It isn't likely a problem with XP, check with
the laptop mfg'r.
