Logetic Cordles Mx duo Keyboard problems,, anyone having probs with the keyboard ?

I

Its JUST ME!!!

Just in the last two weeks my keyboard is acting funny, i key massive
lag on the keyboard to a point i cant type NOthing, as its impossible,
i have to push the keys down REAL hard and some times hold them.

The reciever was only 1 metre away, so i moved it closer and now sees
to have fixed it, not sure why this would be, can the receiver
tansmitter degrade over time ?, then again it might be some spyware or
anvalid activeX, or whatever did a full clean, and maybe that was it.

Any ideas. Iove my MX700 and Duo Keybord, but will be upgrading to the
MX1000 wehen ever my local store has them in stock should be a few
months and that will give me time to do some review looking.

Thanks.

Batteries or something around the reciever interfering.

Move the reciever away from the monitor and PC.

No, it should not degrade in fuction on it's own.

That seems extremely unlikely. Such things could cause
keyboard lag, slow response, but not that varies based on
the location of the base _at_all_.

Check battery voltage under load or change batteries. If
that doesn't help then try keeping the receiver at least a
few inches away from anything metal, especially large areas
like a cabinet or desktop, on top of computer case, etc.

Agree completely, I had mine on top of aluminium case to begin with and
had 'lag' symptoms and mouse curser flying off to the edge of the
screen. I moved mine onto a shelf about a 2 feet away from the
case/monitor and it's been fine ever since.

The thing is ive had it in the same place since i got it nothings
changed ?

Anyway its RIGHT next to my monitor now and no probs at all :), then
again could have been the cleaning i did, anyway working now and all
is good.

Thanks for the suggestions if what i did did not work i will try the
others.

Thanks again.

What nice people i have found.

/PS you think the MX1000 Mouse is worth at as a gaming mouse ?

It's a great mouse but debatable if it's worth the price,
most people wouldn't notice the difference between it and an
MX300 (for ambidexterous use and lightest weight) or
MX500/510 (for sculpted shape and more buttons). Any MX
series is better than (any other non-MX mouse).
