Log on & Log off Pictures

Using XP Prof.
Previously at startup pictures of the users were
displayed, with the abiliity to log on to each account.
This has now changed? The login is more like an NT type
login where user name and password have to be entered.
Also previously when a user would log off it would return
to the startup screen with pictures - now the NT type
login. The computer is being used by people not to
competent in computing, so I was wondering whether I could
change it back some how?
I now use LAN as the internet connection - previously
dialup. Their picture are shown under their user accounts
etc.

yeah, i would also like to know the answer to this, it

Hey Jeff,

This can be easily solve by going to the Start menu >
Control Panel and click on User Accounts, then from there
click on "Change the way user log on and off". Check both
of these boxes, use Welcome screen and Fast User
Switching, and click Apply Options. That should do it
mate. Good Luck!

Tried that - the problem I think is something to do with
the way I set up my new modem - NETGEAR DG834G - it has
now introduced "netware client services", which says that
I have to disable this before I can change to the old
system method of login - these is slightly to complex for
me!

Any ideas?
