Links will not work

Hi I am running Microsoft Office 2007 and when I try to click on a link on an email I get this message " this operation has been cancelled due to a restiction in effect on this computer. Please contact your adminstrator." Can any one help as I am the administrator, the only user and a home PC. I have not knowingly changed any the settings.
