I recently purchased a Lexmark x7170 All-in-one printer. I just
refilled the cartridge myself, but cannot find out how to reset the ink
level reporting to full. I am using XP with SP2.
Questions:
1. How do these particular cartridges/printers keep track of the ink
level?
2. How can I reset the ink level to full?
3. What will happen if I continue to ignore the ink level (just let it
indicate empty even though I know the tank is full)? Will the printer
stop printing at some pre-determined number of pages printed?
I am new to this Lexmark printer. I would greatly appreciate any
responses. Thank you.
