Lebans Calendar Seemingly Invisible

Neil

Hi, I think the calendar control thing is very good and seems to work well
most of the time.
On certain occasions, though, when I double click a control, the calendar
doesn't appear. The focus has been removed from the control and any attempt
to click or press a key results in the windows beep sound. The only way out
of it is to press escape to close the calendar. The control updates with
today's date.
Is the calendar just invisible on these occasions are is it visible but so
small it's impossible to see it?

Also, is there a way to make it when someone closes the calendar with the
cross rather than selecting a date, the control is blank as opposed to what
happens now, and the control updates with the selected date in the calendar.
Huge and grateful thanks,
Neil.

Hi Neil,
I received my first notification fo this bug the other day. Are you
running Access on Windows XP by chance?

Sorry, I always forget to mention that...

Yeah it's Access 2002 on Windows XP Professional, although I've had the same
thing on the Home edition also.

I've actually since discovered on mine that part the 'bug', (perhaps all of
it, testing will tell), is due to an error on my part in the form load bit.

DoCmd.MoveSize 1, 1

is what I had, I changed the second 1 to 2, to read

DoCmd.MoveSize 1, 2

and it seems OK.

Thanks,
Neil.
