Laptop Screen Pink on Startup

I've had my Dell laptop for about 2 years. Just this week it's started
showing an odd problem - when I start it up the screen is sort of pink,
especially on the left side, for a couple of minutes, then it fades to
normal. Everything displays fine.

I haven't changed any hardware.

Could "likely" is sign of screen damage that will not get better. Sorry for
the bad news. Any chance its still under warrantee?
