Laptop Battery

Does anyone know a good place to buy laptop batteries from?

I have a Sony Vaio FX801 and use it for recording lectures at university. Thing is, sometimes I have three in a row, which is three hours of recording time and is a lot to demand of a laptop battery. It can do it... *just* but I'd like a second battery to remove some of the stress

For example, if standby cocks up and I have to reboot, I wouldn't have enough power.

So anyone know some nice reliable, cost effective retailers that supply batteries?

Your best bet may be to check out E-Bay (or just look for plugs in the lecture theatre ) - I've got a feeling batteries will cost about £70-£130

Yeah they are expensive... it was about £160 on Dabs! :crazy:

There are sockets and sometimes we have a 20 min break to mentally recover so I take the charger and give it a quick zap!

From what I understand that doesn't do any good for the long term battery condition though :/
