Windows XP LAN account not picking up local admin rights on machine

Hey guys....

Got a user who's account will not pick up local admin rights to his machine. I add them in using computer mgmt, log off and on...reboot etc and the account still has not picked up the local admins..?

Really not sure whats causing this!

Any help would be great

Step1. Chech Workgroup name they should be identical.
Step2. First 3 numbers of ur ip address should be similar
eg. if ur ip is 192.168.100.1 ur friends must be 192.168.100.*

This must work
