Kodak 5100 Printer Problem

Hello,
I bought a new Kodak 5100 printer around 6 months ago, & it printed
documents off of my old 2001 Dell computer just fine. After this new
year I bought a new Dell Inspiron 530 & now when I print a document it
is not dark enough.

There does not seem to be any adjustments & I have looked through all
of their info they provided. Also when I copy something it comes out
just fine, so I do not think it is the black ink cartridge or nozzle,
& yes I just replaced it. So thanks for any help

Check the options on the driver for the printer on your laptop and make
sure it is not in draft or ink saver mode. Check to see if you are
running a separate utility that has ink saver as an option.

If you can set the driver for a higher resolution or print quality, or
set it to text mode, if it is something like halftone or continuous
tone, or image mode.
