KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED

Hi,

I got a KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED blue screen Error when booting up my Win2K Professional. There's NO mentioning specifically where the error occurs like for example "Error Message: STOP 0x00000001e KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED in Win32k.sys".

Mine was just a plain "KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED" blue screen, period!!!

I tried searching Microsoft Support Knowledge Base for a possible explanation & solution but to no avail. Can anybody help me on this?

I'm on Service Pack 4 and with most up-to-date windows security patches. Please drop me an email -> (e-mail address removed) if you can.

STOP 0x1Es are a very common STOP code, it could be just about any kernel
mode driver you can think of. Best way to troubleshoot these is to think of
the last software/hardware added to the machine and start removing it. When
do you get the STOP code exactly?
