Kerberos interoperability with w2k domain controller kdc

I am attampting to configure and Oracle Client running on a
w2k client machine to utilize kerberos kdc running on w2k
domain controller. I am receiving an error on the Oracle
side stating that it does not support the encryption type.
How can I determine the encrytion type of the ticket I
obtained from the KDC? I know Oracle supports des-cbc-crc
-- how can I ensure the ticket obtained uses this
encryption method?

You can use kerbtray.exe from the resource kit.

check the account and see if it is set to allow DES encryption - by default
it uses RC4-HMAC
