Anyone ... Help !
I'm running Windows 2000 SP4 with all the updates but KB891711, my problem
is that I can't get it to install.
Basically what happens is I try to run the install and at the beginning I
get and error stating that setup can't copy the file
c:\winnt\system32\dllcache\winlogon.exe to the specified location.
I've tried to run the update in safe mode, I've downloaded it to my PC and
tried to run it from the downloaded installed, I've tried to run it directly
from the windows update web site, but nothing seems to work. I know the
winlogon file has been updated on my PC during other windows updates, but I
can't figure out what's going on now.
Anyone have any suggestions, I'm about out of ideas ?
