Joining NT Domain Behind NAT

A

Ashwin Philar

Hi!!

We have a wired LAN at our site. Recently, I have setup a WLAN, the
WLAN router connects the LAN and the WLAN.

The WLAN clients connect to the router via VPN. This router performs
NAT between the wireless and wired interfaces because the wired LAN
administrators do not want us to use their IP addresses on the
wireless side.

I want to join these wireless clients to the domain on the wired side.

Can this be done?

Thanks,
Ashwin

Yes.

And since you didn't ask the question you really want answered, the
answer is "WINS or a properly configured LMHosts file with the domain
controller designation."
