Jobs being deleted from print queue.

Hi,

I have a server that has a number of printers connected to it (locally
via IP ports). All these printers are used fairly frequently. I am
having a problem whereby one of the printers (a Brother HL-1250) will
not allow anyone to print to it. What happens is that when anybody
tried to print to it, the job appears in the print queue, and then
after a couple of seconds, it gets deleted automatically.

I am able to connect to it, so it is unlikely to be a networking
problem. I have tried printing test pages from the printer itself as
well, which works. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the printer from
the server, and that hasn't worked either.

Can anyone help?

For anyone who cares, the issue was born out of stupidity. The IP port
that this printer was set up to use was the wrong one. Changed it to
the actual IP address of the printer. Lo and behold, it works.
Time to sack someone, maybe me...
