j:\(my File).mdb is not a valid path. Make sure the path name is spelled
correctly and you are connected to the server on which the file resides.
There are only two files on the network server. Application file and database
file. I copy each one to adisk and take them home and move them to my home
computer. I get the above message when the application opens and looks for
the database. The first fix offered did not work. I carefully followed
instructions, but am unabe to remove the newly created drivej with
instuctions provided. Thanks

Did you accidentally copy the shortcut instead of the document file? Or
does the document contain internal links to files on the network and not
your local machine?

If you dragged and dropped the file perhaps you just copied a shortcut.
Try a right click and "sendto" the floppy drive.
