Items Being Deleted When Moving Deleted Items

J

Jason H.

Greetings all,

I have a user that's trying to move a message from her personal Deleted Items folder to the Deleted Items folder of a shared mailbox. When doing so, the message disappears altogether: it's no longer in her personal D.I. folder nor is it moved into the D.I. folder of the shared mailbox.

The strange thing is that this process works flawlessly for me. Oh, and we both have ownership of that shared mailbox. (The only difference is that I'm using OL2007 and she's using OL2003.)

Any ideas?
Thanks!

One idea is to not use the Deleted Items folder as a storage location for
messages you want to keep. I know this may sound "flip", but you shouldn't
be expecting to keep anything in the Deleted Items folder. If you want it,
don't delete it.
