Is there a way using Win XP Pro as the host to allow more than 1 VPN connection to the machine?

I need to allow two people to simultaneously connect to the office machine
(Win XP Pro) from Win98 machines. Is this possible?

Thanks

No. XP only allows one active user to be loggedd in at a time. This is
hard-coded and can't be changed.

If you mean "connect" to share files ... yes, that works with two users
simultaneously. There is a limit (6?) which I can't remember. If you
mean "connect" running telnet to log in ... more than one is possible,
but I don't know limits. If mean "connect" to get remote access with
more than one desktop sharing ... only one at a time is possible.

This is what servers are for.

Other alternatives: Routers with inbuilt VPN technology--however,
investigate these carefully to see whether they'll work in your situation.

You can have one connection via an analog modem as well as the VPN.
