Is there a way I can use .MOV video files with Movie Maker?

I have always been recording with my camara which saves the files as a .MOV
file, but now I just notice that movie maker does not accept .MOV files. What
can I do?

You can use a program to convert them to avis. The complete version of Nero
will do it. I also use Video Cleaner Lite.

I use AVS Video Converter to convert all the various formats....its keeps my
number of programs down... ha ha It is an awesome program with lots of
choices and functions to use....including converting from and to dvd/cd and
also audio tools. Its pretty easy to learn to use too. It costs $29.95,
but I figure I got my worth out of it long ago....find it at
www.avsmedia.com Its all what you get used to, but its a great utility for
me.

I downloaded Rad Video Tools from PapaJohn along with his tutorial. It is a
really good programme and so easy when you follow the tutorial. The CODEC
business takes some understanding but I got there eventually. It's free to
download and I shall be sending a donation.
