Is there a Remote service like "GotoMyPC" but free of charge and registration ?

I don't trust any company who wants to get money from me for such a critical remote service.
I could imagine that there is a service similar to Gotomypc but free of charge.

Does someone know such a software ?

Why shouldn't you trust a company that sells a commercial
product? It stands or falls by the quality of that product!

You could try WinVNC. It's free.

Windows XP Pro includes Remote Desktop which provides this
functionality. However it is not included with XP Home.

If the target machine is Windows XP or W2003 server you can use remote
desktop. and the software to do so is included in those operating systems
but can be added to anything from 98 up by simply copying two small files
from an XP machine to the system32 folder
