Is there a full resolution VGA video capture - VGA DVR system

C

I am looking for a device I can plug in the VGA output of my PC to
(VGA is split into two: one goes to my LCD display and the other to
this hypothetical capture device) and capture in real-time the buffer
on my screen. Is there a solution along these lines out there?

Thanks

Hi,

Did you get sorted with this? We sell vga to usb capture devices in the UK for eipiphan (www.epiphan.com, see VGA2USB) but be warned they start at around the £200 mark depending on prevailing exchange rates for the US$ You will need a vga splitter to you can watch and capture at the same time unless its a laptop which will display and output VGA at the same time anyway.

This is geared towards recording the output from someone elses PC, if all you want to do is record your own screen activity onto your own (i.e. the same) PC just google "free screen capture software" there's loads of stuff out there e.g. Camstudio

any help?
