Is it possible to automatically "Lock" a Win2K workstation, after say 5 minutes of inactivity ? thro

Hi all,

is this possible ? Users tend to forget to lock the workstation when they
leave their desk for prolonged periods.

Can I set it using Group Policy

cheers,

You don't even have to configure the screen-saver. Just configure the
password-protected and time-before-screensaver parts in your GPO and
whatever screensaver the user chooses will be forced to have password
protection, and will activate after the time you specified. I'm pretty sure
even if no screensaver is selected, the workstation will still lock after
the given period of inactivity.
