Invitation automatically goes to deleted items folder

Outlook 2003
When scheduling a meeting the user sends a meeting request to a
distribution group. The user is a member of the distribution group.
She claims that in the past she would receive a copy if the meeting
request in her inbox. Currently the request shows up in her deleted
items forlder.
There are no rules set. She does not have auto accept set in
tools>options>preferences>Calendar options>resource scheduling.
This appears to be default behavior as I have tested om my machine as
well.
Any thoughts?

Thanks

Does she have any add-ins?

In Outlook, Tools->options->email options->tracking options. The box for "delete blank blah, blah, blah after processing" is most likely checked.

Rat's, this one looked like a great possibility but the "blah blah
blah' box is not checked.

Has anyone found an answer to this problem yet?
