I have encountered problems with Sage accounting (date defaulting to 2000 and no separators). I have been given the fix as altering date format in the XP Control Panel to another country and then altering back to U.K. When I try to change the format using the drop down menu, I get the error message "invalid date format" whichever country and format I choose.
I had a major crash on the p.c. and had to re-install most programs

I am not a p.c. genius so any ideas in plain English will be greatly appreciated

Thanks.
