Windows XP Intervideo win DVD - wont work

Says failed to create overlay, try reducing resolution or colour depth and try again, have tried that but get the same error message?

Have used intervideo before with no problems. Currently running on a Lenovo T60, am in australia and DVDs are from Uk so have installed slyfox to get over region issues but still wont work. Also doesnt work on Win media player - any ideas?

Fixed

Googled it and found a fix, netmeeting was causing the problem (??) Deselected appear on task bar in its options menu and now works fine.
