Installing Access Runtime from Office XP Developer

R

ReidarT

I am trying to install Access Developer runtime from Office Developer XP
CD's. When I try to build the setup Project I get a message during
installation saying:
Select Create New to create a new set of Access components in this language
from an Office CD 1 image. Select browse to find an existing copy in another
location. Which would you like to do?
Create new, Browse or Cancel.
I have my Office CD1 in my CD-drive and gt the message
The path K:\does not point to an Office CD1 or image. Click OK to select
another path.

What can I do?

Hello,

Thanks for your post. If I learned correctly that you encountered the
following prompt asking you to insert the Office CD1 when you tried to
create Access database package using Packaging Wizard. If I have
misunderstood, please feel free to let me know.

"The Packaging Wizard cannot find one or more of the required Access
components in the language you selected. Select Create New to create a new
set of Access components in this language from the Office CD 1 image.
Select Browse to find an existing copy in another location".

Please refer to the following article documented in Microsoft Knowledge
Base for your reference.
321000 ACC2002: "The Packaging Wizard Cannot Find One or More of the
Required
http://support.microsoft.com/?id=321000

In addition, Tthere are many languages you can choose from the combo box
for the Access runtime, you need to have the appropriate Office XP CD 1 to
insert into the compact drive. For example, if you select English language
for the Access runtime, you need to insert the Office XP English version
CD1 in the compact drive and then Packaging Wizard will copy the files from
the CD1 to your local machine, create a new set of Access runtime on the
local machine.

I also found the following article for your reference.

I am looking forward to hearing from you soon.
