inexpensive home cluster external shared array

want to build a cluster system at home for educational reasons and am
looking for inexpensive external shared storage array. anyone have any
recommendations.

You don't even need an array.

Just get a SCSI card for each node and three SCSI drives.

I have such a "ghetto cluster" in my cubicle here at the office. Works like
a champ.

(Please, please don't consider this an endoresement of using this for
production work, though!)

Can you post or email me what hardware you are using? I am setup the way
you say, and I am unable to get the second node to work. thanks.
