Hi to all ,

So far my index page was index.htm .
Now , using a new webhost , I have to make it index.html .
Can I change this without any harm or will it mess up my frames ?
Thank you in advance for your advice .

Danny

you can change it without any problems. you can also (probably) just open
the online web and delete the index.html page they put there as a place
holder and your index.htm page will work without change. it seems that the
server has a preference depending how it's set up. I've never had a problem
just deleting the index.html page from the server.

the only caveat is that some servers are not configured to default to
something else if there is no .html page. I've never encountered one but
that's what I've heard.
