incorrect icon displayed for .htm and .html

alex

Most (but not all) of my .htm .html files no longer show
the Internet explorer document icon. Instead they have
the generic windows document icon. I have tried to change
this in the file explorer options, but it simply won't
catch.
I mentioned that some icons are correct. I can't find a
pattern that would indicate date or access rights having
anything to do with this.

I am running:
W2K Professional SP4
Internet Explorer 6.0.2880

Thanks

Hi Alex,

When you delete temporary files in I.E. or run
SpyBot, the .ico files are lost until you save a
favorite again; then it will save the icons again.
