In slide show, mouse click will not advance some slides. Fix?

In Powerpoint 2002's slide show mode, some slides I biuld that will not
advance on a mouseclick, but will advance with the spacebar or the P key.
Can find no pattern, but the problem points within a given presentation
remain the same over time.

Anyone know a fix? Registry edit or option change, perhaps?

I found an answer to my own question in Article 326533, and it worked for me.
It involves making selections on "Set up Show" and "Slide Show" menus. That
reverts everything back to the "no transition" default. Then you
re-establish the desired slide transitions within the presentation, and they
all work with mouse clicks, as well as the other methods of advancing
presentations. I dn't know what this fixes in the presentation, but it's
evidently something.
