Importing a site designed in Publisher 2003

Hi,
(1) has anyone imported a site from Publisher to FP?
If so
(2) Does importing it get rid of the extraneous application code?
(3) How well does the site maintain its integrity?

Importing from Publisher is NOT a good idea... it won't look good and the
code is terrible because Publisher wasn't truly designed to build web
pages... FrontPage was... so use FP... don't import anything from Publisher
unless maybe some images.
Just because you can do something doesn't mean that you should!!

I have done this - once, and never again.
The resulting page consisted of three absolutely positioned images, which
overlaid and obscured a very small amount of text, the remaining text being
incorporated into the images. The images weighed in between 50K and
60Kbytes each. The amount of code used to display so little was
extraordinary. Integration into the site was impossible.

That page is now a .pdf.

imho, Never use Publisher to create web pages.
