My new Sony computer with Windows XP is not allowing me
to access my drive E. It tells me to contact the
administrator and I am the administrator. I have
important information I need to retrieve from a CD-RW.
Can anyone help me?

I think the clue here is "cdrw". If you made a cdrw (as opposed to a
simple cd-r), then your new computer doesn't understand the formatting
on the cdrw. You'd need to have the same software with which you
created the cdrw installed on the new computer. The easiest thing to do
is to put the cdrw in the old computer, copy the files on it to the
hard drive, and then make a plain cd-r. The new computer will be able
to read the cd-r.
