IE6/Shockwave Download

We are having trouble downloading Shockwave from
Macromedia. The "Install" button comes up and the
install seems to begin but I get a screen telling me to
try again. Machines - Dell GX1 P3 550 mgh 128 ram 10 g
hard drive win98se ie6sp1. We would like to have a
central install location for all of our network users.
Anyone know how to make this happen? Thanks.
