IE prompts for username/password problem

Fuzzy Logic

We have a user that is always prompted for a username/password when
accessing our Intranet. The site has been added to the Intranet zone but
still no luck. If another user logs on to the same machine and connects to
the site they are not prompted for login information. I've tried various
things but have had no luck. Any suggestions as to where to look? System is
XP Pro SP2 with fully patched IE 6.

check the security setting, or content advisor, or privacy settings for that
user.
They may be set to low.

Hi,
Check settings in Internet Options> Security> Intranet> Custom Level> User
Authentication. One of the "Automatic Logon" choices should work.
