IE 6.0 Randomly Closes?!

Hello. I am using Win XP Pro with IE 6.0. I downloaded
the new service pack and am fully updated. My problem is
that I will be surfing the web and all of a sudden all of
my IE windows will just close without any warning.
Similar to if one had hit Alt + F4. This is very
annoying as I lose whatever page I had navigated to. It
seems to be possibly related to new windows opening
and/or java/scripting. But it has happened at numerous
websites. One example is that I can never play Yahoo!
Games as it closes my browser.

I am running Win 98 SE and am also having the same issue
since the upgrade. Let me know if you come up with a fix,
or how to go back to the previous version. It only seems
to affect me when I am in Yahoo.

I'm having the same problem too. I'm using Win XP with IE
6.0. Please let us know how to resolve this as this is
very annoying and inconvenient!

Do you get any error message such as? You may have a virus.

"windows must now restart because the Remote Procedure
Call(RPC) service terminated unexpectedly".

it never did this before and now I can't even use the
internet for more then just 6 min.
I hope someone out there who can help me PLEASE !!

What do you use for an anti-virus program? Been keeping it updated?
Have you been running Windows Update, too?
