Identification of program 'msdmxm.exe'

R

Richard Cherry

ZoneAlarm Alert notifies me that msdmxm.exe is accessing
the internet from my Windows 2000 Professional OS computer,
but has no information. How would I identify this program
which resides in my C:\WINNT\System32 directory?
Sincerely
Richard M. Cherry

Nothing came up after googling (as you probably know!).
It probably wouldn't hurt to run an online virus/trojan
scan.

(Panda's very good but sometimes it takes a LONG time to
scan - just a warning!)

Trojanhunter is a very good program. They have a 30 day
free trial version. You can get it here:
Trojanhunter

Another online trojan scan is here:
On-line Trojan Scan

You should also download and run Adaware (free version)
from http://www.lavasoftusa.com/
It detects and safely removes dataminers, tracking
cookies, dialers, BHO's and other objects from your
computer. This link will help you configure AAW for your
first scan: http://www.lavasoftsupport.com/index.php?
