i open the file but i did not mean to change the
progam but know i need to know how to change
it back to a Unknown application =(
Why do you need to make it unknown? Can't you right click on it and
choose "open with" to select a new application to open it?
Oh well, to remove a file type's association do this:
Open any folder, go to Tools on the menu, then Folder Options at the
bottom. Select the File Types tab and find the type of file you want to
make "unknown". Use the delete button and that file type will not be
associated with any particular program. If you dbl-click on that type of
file Windows should ask how you want to open it again.
