That's laughable. MSFT has scores of ex-DOJ employees and they pay them a
lot more than DOJ did for the purpose of allowing Brad Smith's legal army to
run interference. Preferable as they are, and as superior as candidates as
Obama, Edwards, and Hillary are compared to the Bush rubberstamped white
men--they still will run government beholden to rich interest groups. Rudy
( in NYC during 911 and made it easier to happen and helped facilitate
chronic irreversable pulmonary disease in thousands of cleanup workers and
rescue workers and made sure the firemen died because communications among
EMTs, Fire, and police were non-existent and still are non-existent six
years later) Guilliani and whatever works today as a position Romney are a
joke and pretty much ensure the Republicans will lose the White House Jan.
20, 2009.

Scott Charney the former chief of computer crime at DOJ and a partner at
New York-based PricewaterhouseCoopers,is but one of many examples--he's now
Corporate VP of "Trustworthy Computing." That's the same Trustworthy
computing that turns over your Live MSN Searches to the government and saves
them for two years to do it while claiming they don't. Many MSFT employees
were upset when they found out, but not one of them should have been
surprised.

Of course up until very recently, DOJ, NSA, and many other wire tapping
alphabet agencies were laughably putting their backup servers on top of
their day to day servers and MSFT had been servicing them for millions while
this was going on and did nothing to stop it. So much for the pompous
proclamationst that parts of Vista were done in collaberation with NSA--and
if they were that was to facilitate programs like Magic Lantern to be Trojan
dropped on your computer so that the complete wire tapping of your phone
conversations and internet email traffic could be facilitated.

You're being wiretapped now and your email is being totally absorbed and the
cowed and totally ineffective Democratic congress is doing nothing to
protect you. MSFT is glad to help.

A great example is that the phone companies and DOJ in multiple appellate
cases and in pending legislation before Congress who claim they have broken
no laws, are asking for total retroactive immunity from any law suits.
People who are certain they have broken no laws in wiretapping you like
Verizon, Comcast, and ATT always ask for unprecedented retroactive indemnity
and send McConnell head of NSA to beg for it as they did last week.

MSFT also gives a ton of money to politicians on both sides of the aisle and
on key committees because Gates, Ballmer and scores of others learned as
kids that the US government considerably with considerably more laws
systemically broken in the Bush administration always runs with its hand out
and has long ago become responsive only to those who have the bucks to buy
it.

The Allito and Roberts appointments to the Supreme Court dealt a blow to the
little guy which will not be reversed for at least 40 years, and if Bush
gets the chance or on the remote chance that the Republicans win the White
House with their old white men array of terrible candidates--Thompson reads
newspapers with shallow understanding equal to Bush--to replace a Justice
the Court will become a complete rubber stamp for the extreme right wing.
Right now--it's a 5-4 rubber stamp as the last term and the term to start
Tuesday will illustrate.

Actually Phillip, the massive illegal wiretapping by NSA, ATT, Verizon,
Sprint and many others, and search reporting by MSFT are very legitimate
problems for Americans and people abroad but we understand that Americans
fight terror by shopping encouraged by their nitwit President.

I wouldn't presume to be the arbiter of what's a legitimate problem outside
your own life.

I should have added that Justice Thomas' new memoir fully displays the bias,
revenge and right winged bigotry that will predominate on the severely
damaged S. Ct. in scores of 5-4 opinions to come. That the Dems would let
still another right winged clown or two on the Court in the same way they
lack the guts to stop the war wouldn't suprise me a bit. Very few high
quality law firms, if any, would hire Thomas for any task in the real world
and this has nothing to do with the color of his skin, but rather the
systemic ignorance in his brain.

Justice Thomas Lashes Out in Memoir
http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2007/09/28/AR2007092801634_pf.html

It's a weak defense for the yellow bellied democrats cowed by the
consummately stupid Republicans who think they're in a Super Bowl that after
6 years they need to fund 12 billion a week to get up-armored humvees when
death by explosion would stop being the predominant means of execution for
Americans (soon no other so-called "Coalition" members will be any near
Iraq) when deaths will stop when a Draft finally pulls troops out of Iraq in
addition to the Armed forces running out of people to send.

No Rich--the growing up needs to be done by apathetic Americans who are
piisng away lives and families and treasure. Of course, the chickenhawks
make damn sure that the lives that go into Dover coffins endlessly are not
connected to them in any way shape or form. There are currently two
Senators with kids enlisted one in Iraq and one going.

There is no gun in your head to read any particular post or thread. Spend
your time where you think your sophisticated, well educated articulate mind
will be fulfilled. I look forward to your many posts of solutions.

The only way to deal with pests, trolls, flamers, and other trouble makers
in news groups is to ignore them.
DO NOT REPLY TO THEM.
DO NOT RESPOND TO THEM.
DO NOT TRY TO REFUTE THEM.
DO NOT TRY TO CONVERT THEM.
DO NOT TRY TO ANSWER THEM.
DO NOT TRY TO REASON WITH THEM.
In other words, ignore them completely. They will eventually tire of the
game and go away. Do a ‘Block Sender’ or kill-file if you want, but
shunning is the best remedy.

Chickenhawk ...

Talking points / buzzwords / irrelavencies = 2
Original thoughts = 0

No, Chad ...

Apathy is also defined by those who parot talking points and use buzzwords
in their ...
Politics by the numbers 'handouts' empowered life.

If the Dover coffins you are referring to are some intellectual chatter
class reference to an action in the middle east involving the consequence of
terrorism, then that is a consequence of DOING something.

Of course, the traditional liberal/left way could have been adopted, DOING
nothing. Safe. no grim milestones.
NOTHING acomplished.

A little intellectual excercise for you while you are combatting APATHY ....
whats the ratio of abortions to Dover coffins per:
MONTH?
YEAR?
Give it a shot.
Combat the urge to chage the subject.
What is an abortion equivalent of a Dover coffin?

You offer a soft, understanding 'bedside' manner, would that you could apply
that understanding to the REAL world.

Here is hoping.

you been reading 'handouts' again?

What stupidity. And next time go to a school that teaches you LOL how to
spell the word "parrot." Typical non-specific right winged BS.

Some specifics to chew on--never mentioned by the right because they don't
know them are below:

"If the Dover coffins you are referring to are some intellectual chatter"

Show your guts by going to the next funeral with one near you and ask to
stand up and call them chatter.

No one is parroting anything but the entrenched right and they're going to
be creamed. For someone who does little to help on this group your
arrogance is laughable and predicatable. Dover coffins are boxes in the
thousands that are filled 99% of the time by kids from poor
families--because the elite "Republican base" aren't in the reserves and
they aren't going to let their kids go anywhere near the service.

You can yammer all you want. Bush will continue to kill and maim thousands
with his stupidity--Malaki is a Sader puppet and they won't lift a finger to
get any political initiatives passed.

Apathy is defined by people like you who have no answer for

Outsourcing costing millions of dollars like Blackwater who help recruit
thousands of people who blow up Americans.

4 million and growing refugees who can't get work in any countries and sure
as hell can't get in the US.

Cascades of lies on surge success and books cooked on actual casualty
figures.

Six years and no trucks that protect against IEDs and their more effective
sequels.

Horrendous care in the VAH system getting worse every month with 32,000
seriously medically crippled with the loss of limbs, eyes and irreversible
massive orthopedic and neurologic injuries.

Not going into Iraq would have saved 4000 lives with thousands more to be
wasted and 32,000 major cripplings with thousands more of those. Hussein
wasn't a significant threat to the US, there were no WMDs when the moron
Bush sent people in.

Since you enjoy the situation in Iraq so much, why isn't your butt there?

Abortions don't have a damn thing to do with Dover Coffins. What are you
smoking? Abortions are still a matter of choice and Bush very likely has no
more appointments and the tired white men the Republicans have running won't
see the light of day in the West Wing.

They also have nothing to do with embryonic stem cells, which have cost
thousands more lives with their vetoing by the intellectually stupid
anti-Science President who didn't win an election but was given it.

Iraq is not the Super Bowl. Al Quaeda is a very small percentage of the
problem in "Mesopotamia" aka the Mess.

Oil companies like Hunt, and ExonMobil have been trying to elbow their way
to the real reason the lives were pissed away--Oil. There won't be any
protection for the blown up oil fields for years and possibly a
generation--it's not coming out of there despite the $70 billion annual
potential nor will their be any agreement by the Iraquis on how to divide it
even if they ever begin producing it again at significant levels more than 2
million bbl./day which is a fraction of what's there. The day before the
US went in it was at 2.8 and before the 1980 war with Iran it was 3.7
million bbl per day.

The cities that are quiet are not quiet because of any stability--they're
quiet because they've been completely ethinically cleansed. Death is quiet.

The Sunis tossed from power in 2003 are being showcased now as the hope to
resist El Quaeda which are about 7% of any forces killing Americans.

Americans are paying the Sunnis who would just as soon kill Americans and
Anbar is homogenously Sunni not mixed as most of Iraq is--so of course
there's less civil war there. If Anbar is so successful, why isn't Bush
pulling the over 20,000 marines from it and sending them elsewhere? The
Sunnis the US is paying and now arming would just as soon turn on the US or
the Iraqi army. The Sunnis aren't going to "stay bought", and cementing
Sunnis and arming them in the center of Iraq is doing exactly the
partitioning Bush claimed they don't want to do. How or if Iraq is divided
isn't a US Congress decision and never will be.

Come April 2008, there ain't gonna be new troops to send because recuritment
is falling precipitously--none of the little Republican darlings seem to be
joining and the poor people fighting the war for the chickenhawks are saying
Bush can stuff the $20,000 bonus.

Shortening the breaks to go home and redeploying reserves who have been
there 4 times already will drop recruitment which is already plumetting like
a rock.

All of the gung ho "we can't give up" right wing chickenhawks can't begin to
define "victory" and have no skin in the game and have no intention of ever
having skin in the game.

I've helped extensively on the Vista groups and the XP groups for six years
prior as well as many others, and it always tickles me to see that every
single sententious idiot who makes a speech about trolls has zero posts of
solutions in years past, now, or in the future like you.

The only way for you to deal is to either help (***and obviously you can't,
haven't and won't be helping ) or make a speech.

Despite being a bit off topic for the group I have to say you got that
right, and how anyone can claim that is not "The real world" is only
confirmation of their own inability to reason.

I've often said that the next someone declares war on someone else the
two armies should surround the politicians from both sides and not let
them go until they either starve or beat each other to death. When
they're done crying, begging and maybe the few that are willing to fight
have done fighting, shoot what's left over and all go for a beer.
There'd be a hell of a lot less wars and the next lot of politicians
might develop some common sense.

Oh yes, less of them to pay = lower taxes :)

As for recruiting Bush has done a wonderful job, there are now far more
taking up terrorism than there were before...

Sorry Charlie, you are not spelling your way into heaven ;)

Show your guts by going to the next funeral with one near you and ask to

Try showing yours and answering a question ;)

No one is parroting anything .... **parroting snipped** ... Bush will
continue to ... **snipping Parrot feathers** ...

Here, have a cracker

Apathy is defined by people like you ...
I gave you answers, and questions TO answer. Did you recognize them?

Since you enjoy the situation in Iraq so much, ...
Now you presume to know what I like? :)
heh .. (the make up stuff and believe it syndrome)

oh, I'll ask you this. Define "right wing". ;)
this ought to be good ;)

Its a treat to read liberals going bad.

So, to sum up?
You got me on parrot.

I'll work on that.

However, you LOL'd and that more that makes up for my parrot. ;)
