How to uninstall Windows Defender in Windows Vista

Hi,

I'm running Windows Vista Enterprise and I'd like to test Forefront Client
Security (stand-alone). How do I uninstall Windows Defender (I know the steps
on how to disable it, but not to remove it).

Hello v-victoc,

WD cannot be removed from Vista under normal circumstances since it's part
of that Operating System.

If for any reason a user uninstalls Forefront Client Security, it will
automatically turn Windows Defender back on to help keep users protected
against spyware.

No need--Forefront will do what it needs to do all on its own--just instal
Forefront. I have Forefront client running on about 7 Vista machines--you
won't have any problems.
