how to stop, prevent, or disable copy and paste from my slides.

I want to prevent others from copy my data on any presentation on power
point. How could this be done please. I mean if one select an item and
click on copy, nothing to be paste at the destination.

You can not completely disable these functions. Anything you display on my
screen, I can capture in one form or another.

You can protect the elements of your presentation by password protecting
your presentation, by combining them into single slide pictures, by creating
it as a PDF, or by converting the presentation to an executable. But, if
there is a picture on my screen, I can create a picture of it.

One possibility is to try using Information Rights Management (IRM). This
is fairly secure, but still may allow capture. You will need PowerPoint
2003 or 2007 for this to work.
